The importance of the MB2

MB2 was not in the usual position here. It was much closer to the palatal canal than the MB1. If it had been missed then the RCT would have probably failed due to the separate exit on the MB root. Finding the MB2 can easily be the cause of success or failure. This would have been almost impossible without the use of a scope.
